350 Compact Hub Drive Evolution

Old conventional hubs are direct drive and are very heavy, they require a very large, heavy and expensive battery to get any range at all. They can't climb hills well at all and even a 750 watt direct drive hub can only do about an 8 degree incline, this while eating up very expensive batteries fast, it is all old technology that is already in the past. There are other new drive systems out there but you can never get any more efficient then the power right in the back wheel and the gears right there, other systems can be out of the rear wheel trying to use to save a little energy on hills. But the reverse effect is they then use up much more energy when they are on the flat, the power source has go through so many components before it actually reaches the driving wheel so it is lost energy all the way. Introducing our new technology compact geared hub drive system, there is no more efficient way out there to have all the motor power right inside your back wheel. No transfer of power in any other way can be more efficient from motor to gears already right beside the powered wheel, with other drive systems the power would have to pass through other components first before it finally gets to power the wheel.
Having the compact hub drive system it actually climbs steeper and faster and goes farther distances on the flat, we have sold both systems and did our own independent testing with our 250 central drive against our 350 Compact hub drive system. On a steep 11 degree hill we tested each bike head to head with the exact same 185 pound rider, exact same tire pressure, exact same battery fully charged for each test and the same weather conditions dry with now wind. The 350 compact hub completed the hill climb in 53 seconds while the 250 took 74 seconds for the exact same climb, we also tested them head to head on the flat with the exact same conditions.
On a full charge riding in top gear and top speed all the way the 250 central went 43 kilometers distance while holding an average speed of about 26 KPH, the compact 350 hub drive bike even though it is using 100 watts more power actually went 47 kilometers distance holding an average speed of about 31 KPH. 32.5 KPH and up you need your class 6 motorcycle license so this is just under the bar for anyone without or a suspended drivers license to be able to ride, yes this means anyone can own and ride one of these bikes legally.
Other drive systems can require having to add a hub shifter system that only ads more cost and more weight to the bike, this is used so when you come to a stop at a red light for example you can shift to first gear while stopped. So when you start off again you are not having to torque hard on your peddles to get going waiting for the power assist to get you going, we have added a throttle just to resolve this issue and make things much easier.
When you come to a stop you do not even have to change gears and stay right in top gear if you like, you simply start off with turning the throttle and peddle at the exact same time. You only have to hold the throttle at most 1 second and then release the throttle while continuing to peddle, the power goes from throttle power into a smooth transition right into peddle assist power and just like that you are up to speed and you didn't even have to change gears.
With our new technology 350 compact hub it is a great hill climber, with our new compact & light weight hub system there is no bulky and heavy motor so it looks like a normal bike. A clean look with the motor protected inside the wheel and no motor hanging out to hit a curb or rock for example destroying the motor, gearbox and frame probably writing off the bike. The motor is protected inside the wheel so it is near impossible to damage and if you ever need to change the motor it is simple, we supply if needed a new wheel with the motor, rubber and wiring so you simply just change the back wheel.
Our 350 Evolution comes with an 8 speed Shimano gearing system right with the wheel with the motor, when you peddle the motor turns on and stops when you stop peddling. There is also safety switches so when you brake it cuts out the power, you just peddle with ease as the bike does the work for you to cruise along or go top power and gear to get to top speed.
If climbing a hill you go to full power on your controller and just shift down as the hill becomes steeper as you would on a normal bike or motorcycle, you shift down as you peddle to find the gear that has the least resistance and the motor does the work for you. You find the best gear of least resistance and it takes the load down on the battery and motor, this allows you to go father per ride extending the battery storage of power and life. The newest and most efficient advancement in Hub drive systems out there.
The 350 compact hub Luxor Evolution now comes with the new Samsung 10 Amp 36 Volt battery, there is also the option to custom order the new Panasonic 17 Amp 36 volt battery.
